Isla was born on Christmas Day, so when it came to planning her custom cake smash, Isla’s mom wanted to stay away from anything too Christmas-y. She tossed out the idea of a winter-themed smash, and I love how this came together. A little bit of winter and a lot of glam! The gold trees sparkled, and the satin curtains finished the set off perfectly.

It seemed like Isla loved it too, as she kept on heading for the set – fake snowballs are obviously more enticing than cake! This is also why I recommend parents come with a second set of clothes to change in to, as you’re more than likely going to get covered in delicious icing chasing your little one around! Who knew that cake smashes end up being a workout?
