Sweet little Aaron came to my NW Calgary studio when he was just 9 days old (the perfect time to be able to capture those squishy newborn baby photos!), and he did not disappoint. He graciously gave me grin after grin and I was smitten. He also happily melted into most of the poses that I had planned for him – a photographer’s dream!

When planning his session, his parents didn’t ask for specific colours but instead wanted the photos to be happy and creative. I loved that they let me plan the session around these ideas and I was able to let a few creative juices flow. Aaron’s parents really enjoyed his little toes peeking through in the moon & stars set-up – they called that the “money shot”! They also found some photos on my instagram that they loved, and we recreated some of those. My goal is to definitely plan a session around what the parents want.
