Growing a human is one big accomplishment, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a newborn photo session. Capturing their tiny little details is one way to ensure you’ll remember those skin flakes, wispy hair or “old man faces” (IYKYK), as the fog of the fourth trimester is no joke! But, that’s why I’m here!

Baby Axel was warmly welcomed into the family by mom, dad, big sister Chloe & big brother Rowan in January. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of photographing all of these kiddos as newborns (and older!) and it’s always so much fun seeing them again. And amongst the craziness, we captured some gorgeous photos.

Mama is super easy-going, and her only request was to incorporate some navy blue to match baby’s nursery. Easy enough! Here are some of my favourite photos from their photography session.
